Rich Landing Bundle – Installation & Setup Guide

1. Install from the Shopify App Store

1. Visit the Shopify App Store and search for Rich Landing Bundle, or click here.
2. Click Add app and review the requested permissions.
3. Click Install app to authorize and complete installation.

Permissions requested:

• read_products, write_products — manage product and variant data for bundles
• read_orders — track bundle purchase analytics
• write_discounts — create and manage bundle discount functions
• read_cart_transforms, write_cart_transforms — enable bundle merging at checkout
• read_metafields, write_metafields — sync bundle configuration to your storefront
• read_themes — detect theme compatibility for the widget
• read_markets, read_locales — support multi-currency and multi-language storefronts
• read_selling_plans — integrate with subscription selling plans

Tip: All permissions are used for core bundle functionality. The app cannot modify your theme files or access customer personal data.

2. Enable the App Embed Block

Option 1: Enable from the Shopify Theme Editor

1. In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
2. In the theme editor, click App embeds (puzzle piece icon) in the left sidebar.
3. Find Rich Landing Bundle and toggle it on.
4. Click Save.

Option 2: Enable from the App Home Interface (Quick Activation)
If at least one bundle is already created, you can enable the widget directly from the app dashboard.

1. Open Rich Landing Bundle in Shopify admin
2. In the dashboard, locate "Activate Widget on Your Theme."
3. Click Activate
4. You will be redirected to the Theme Customizer
5. The app embed will be automatically turned ON
6. Click Save in the theme editor to apply changes

This app embed loads the widget scripts and styles on every storefront page. If it’s disabled, bundle widgets will not appear even if blocks are added to templates.

3. Add Bundle To Theme Block

1. In the theme editor, open the page template where you want the bundle (e.g. product page or landing page).
2. Click Add block or Add section.
3. Under Apps, select Rich Landing Bundle.
4. Enter the Bundle ID from the app dashboard (Bundles → Edit Bundle).
5. Click Save.

4. Troubleshooting Installation

• App embed not showing in theme editor

Ensure your theme is an Online Store 2.0 theme. Vintage themes require manual Liquid integration (see your Theme Integration documentation).

• Widget not rendering after setup

Clear your browser cache and confirm the bundle status is Active in the app dashboard.

Note: For proper app integration, it is required to create at least one bundle. Read the "Creating a Bundle" document by clicking here and create your first bundle by following the guidance.
