Maintenance FAQs

Every retainer includes proactive monitoring, bug fixes, performance optimization, security updates, and dedicated development hours. Higher tiers add CRO testing, strategy calls, and faster SLAs. The scope is flexible — unused hours roll over for one month.

Response times depend on your plan: Essential (24 hours), Growth (4 hours), Enterprise (1 hour). Critical issues affecting checkout or revenue are triaged immediately regardless of plan tier.

Absolutely. Retainer hours are flexible and can be used for bug fixes, content updates, new features, design changes, CRO experiments, or anything else your store needs. We prioritize together during our regular check-ins.

Yes, unused hours roll over for one month. If you have 10 hours on the Essential plan and use only 6, the remaining 4 carry over to the next month (giving you 14). Hours don't roll over beyond one month.

Additional hours can be purchased at our standard hourly rate, or you can upgrade your plan at any time. We'll proactively flag when you're approaching your limit so there are no surprises.

We ask for a 3-month minimum commitment to allow proper onboarding and meaningful results. After the initial term, plans continue month-to-month and can be cancelled with 30 days notice.

Growth and Enterprise clients get a dedicated Slack channel. All clients have access to our project management board (Linear) and email support. You can submit requests however is most convenient — we triage and track everything centrally.

Yes. A significant portion of our retainer clients came to us with stores built elsewhere. We start every engagement with a thorough code audit and documentation process, so we understand the codebase before making changes.
