- Generate and validate cart tokens for bundle additions to cart
- To configure and display bundles:
- Store and apply your bundle rules, discount tiers, and eligibility conditions
- Apply bundle discounts via Shopify Functions at checkout
- Display your chosen widget styles, layouts, and custom fonts on the storefront
- To provide analytics and reporting:
- Aggregate anonymous storefront events (views, additions, purchases) to show bundle performance
- Calculate revenue, discount impact, and conversion metrics
- Help you understand which bundles and tiers perform best
- To power optional features:
- Sales notifications: Fetch recent order data from Shopify to display real-time social proof messages on your storefront (without storing this data long-term)
- AI Studio: Send your prompts and widget configuration to DeepSeek AI to generate styling suggestions and CSS
- To manage billing and subscriptions:
- Track your current plan, trial status, and Shopify subscription ID
- Enforce plan limits (e.g., number of bundles, AI usage, feature access)
- To maintain security and prevent abuse:
- Verify Shopify webhooks and app proxy requests using HMAC signatures
- Sign and validate cart tokens to prevent tampering or fraudulent use
- Monitor for suspicious or abusive usage patterns
- To provide support and improve the App:
- Use configuration and usage patterns (in aggregate) to debug issues and improve reliability
